Gartner - Predicts 2009: Print Technologies Enable Cost Savings and Revenue Growth, stated that by 2012, 80% of organisations will have an enterprise fax solution.

Field Studies Council Anticipates Savings of £100,000 per Annum by Automating Purchase-to-Pay
Field Studies Council (FSC), a leading UK environmental education charity with 17 sites situated across the UK, is anticipating cost savings in excess of £100,000 per year by automating its purchase-to-pay cycle using Version One’s document management and imaging solutions (www.versionone.co.uk). FSC is also significantly improving invoice processing efficiency, reducing manual data entry by up to 90% and is supporting its environmental agenda using Version One’s technology tightly integrated into its Sage Line 500 accounting system. Version One’s solutions went live in May 2009.

AHDB to Save Over £50,000 Per Annum with Version One’s Data Capture Integrated with Agresso
The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), a recently established non-departmental public body serving the agriculture and horticulture sectors, is expecting cost savings in excess of £50,000 per annum as a result of implementing intelligent data capture software, DbCapture, from Version One (www.versionone.co.uk). AHDB will also speed-up the processing of 60,000 purchase invoices and levy return forms each year and reduce manual data entry by up to 80% using Version One’s technology. DbCapture is expected to go live late summer 2009.

AHDB benefits from access to a comprehensive ERP suite, comprising financials, procurement, HR, payroll and project management functionality, from global business and financial software provider Agresso. Version One’s software integrates seamlessly with Agresso and the implementation of DbCapture, which coincides with AHDB’s upgrade to Agresso 5.5, will enable AHDB to automatically capture and verify data from scanned purchase invoices using advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology. Any data discrepancies will be automatically highlighted for the attention of the user. The captured data will then be uploaded to Agresso 5.5, significantly reducing manual data entry, cutting data entry errors and improving purchase invoice processing efficiency.
